GitHub - microsoft/JARVIS: JARVIS, a system to connect LLMs with ML community. Paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2303.17580.pdf

#artificialintelligence

This project is under construction and we will have all the code ready soon. Language serves as an interface for LLMs to connect numerous AI models for solving complicated AI tasks! We introduce a collaborative system that consists of an LLM as the controller and numerous expert models as collaborative executors (from HuggingFace Hub). However, it means that Jarvis is restricted to models running stably on HuggingFace Inference Endpoints. Now you can access Jarvis' services by the Web API.

JavaScript Library Lets Devs Add AI Capabilities to Web - The New Stack

#artificialintelligence

AI company Hugging Face has released a new open source JavaScript library that allows frontend and web developers to add machine learning capabilities to webpages and apps. Traditionally, Python notebooks are the toolkit for data scientists, but for most web and frontend developers, it's JavaScript. Until now, adding those functions meant a Python app on the backend that did the work, said Jeff Boudier, head of product and growth at the startup. Using JavaScript, the browser can request machine learning models to serve predictions and obtain answers for a visitor. "We provide some low code/no code tools, but if you want to dig in a little bit, you still have to whip out some Python notebooks, etc. And that's the traditional toolkit of data scientists," Boudier told The New Stack.

Continue developing skill using Github Copilot Yes, you can be more or less skilled at using copilot! I've found myself developing techniques. For example, there's something I call Header Stuffing, which works like this: If you're working with APIs or database tables or something else with doco and schemas and so on, then go dump them into a text format and paste them into the top of your source file(s) as comments. Copilot then uses this information to generate better code. Remember that copilot cannot use a search engine (yet), so you need to do that job sometimes.

Were you unable to attend Transform 2022? Check out all of the summit sessions in our on-demand library now! The latest generation of artificial intelligence (AI) models, also known as transformers, have already changed our daily lives, taking the wheel for us, completing our thoughts when we compose an email or answering our questions in search engines. However, right now, only the largest tech companies have the means and manpower to wield these massive models at consumer scale. To get their model into production, data scientists typically take one to two weeks, dealing with GPUs, containers, API gateways and the like, or have to request a different team to do so, which can cause delay.

Train and deploy a FairMOT model with Amazon SageMaker

#artificialintelligence

Multi-object tracking (MOT) in video analysis is increasingly in demand in many industries, such as live sports, manufacturing, surveillance, and traffic monitoring. For example, in live sports, MOT can track soccer players in real time to analyze physical performance such as real-time speed and moving distance. Previously, most methods were designed to separate MOT into two tasks: object detection and association. The object detection task detects objects first. The association task extracts re-identification (re-ID) features from image regions for each detected object, and links each detected object through re-ID features to existing tracks or creates a new track.

Build a CI/CD pipeline for deploying custom machine learning models using AWS services

#artificialintelligence

Amazon SageMaker is a fully managed service that provides every developer and data scientist with the ability to build, train, and deploy machine learning (ML) models quickly. SageMaker removes the heavy lifting from each step of the ML process to make it easier to develop high-quality ML artifacts. AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM) is an open-source framework for building serverless applications. It provides shorthand syntax to express functions, APIs, databases, event source mappings, steps in AWS Step Functions, and more. A workflow includes data collection, training, testing, human evaluation of the ML model, and deployment of the models for inference.

Deep Learning Inference at Scale

Dashcams are an essential tool in a trucking fleet, both for the truck drivers and the fleet managers. Video footage can exonerate drivers in accidents, as well as provide opportunities for fleet managers to coach drivers. However, with a continuously running camera, there is simply too much footage to examine. When a KeepTruckin dashcam is paired with one of our Vehicle Gateways, the camera only automatically uploads the footage immediately preceding a driver performance event (DPE), which is an anomalous and potentially dangerous driver-initiated event (e.g. With all of the videos uploaded per day, fleet managers need to sift through the incoming data so that they can direct their attention to the most important videos for safety analysis. And of the selected videos for viewing, they need video overlays to more easily understand what happened in them.
